Fly Fishing

Fly fishing is unique in two basic ways. In all other fishing, the weight of the lure or bait is what enables the angler to cast. In fly fishing the weight of the line itself is the cast. The fly fisherman's offering is a near-weightless bit of feathers or hair that imitates a bait fish in one of its forms of life.
